  32. People with older machines can use KA9Q's news fetcher in !TCPIP.

  34. If their ISP does not support the newnews command, they can still
  35. download news, albeit with the help of a program I wrote last year.
  36. I have not tested to see if !TCPIP does skip the new news phase
  37. when collecting news without any groups configured, but it does
  38. include the facility to fetch a list of requested articles by IDs.

  40. It also includes capability for header only downloads now, but
  41. does not have the filtering system that Newshound has built in.
